We are happy to report that the clean water issue is finally moving on! With the warmer temperatures the last week algae has formed across the lake staining up the water. This has greatly increased the fishing!

Walleyes are being found in 5-20ft. We are finding good pods of fish in weeds, rocks, and timber. Bottom bouncers and spinners tipped with a crawler, leech, or gulp. This tactic should continue to get better this next week. Bobbers and leeches are always a stand by. Some guys have started to troll crankbaits.

White bass seem to be in the deeper part of bays off of the weed edge. Some days they are right under the surface and other days they are tight to the bottom. Look for back bays and wind blown rocks. Hair jigs and jerk baits have been very good.

The walleye bite should continue to improve in the coming weeks. The forecast for the 4th of July weekend looks great and we expect the fishing to be great as well!

We have leeches, crawlers, and fatheads in stock!

Head to Ed’s!
