The walleye bite remains steady, but it varies depending on what part of the lake you’re fishing.

  • West side: 2–8 ft
  • Main Bay: 12–20 ft
  • East side: 15–25 ft

Low-light periods are by far the best. Foggy and cloudy days have been stretching out the bite window nicely.

Best presentations lately have been Berkley Finishers, Dirty Bombs, and spoons tipped with minnows.

Perch:
The perch bite slowed a bit this week. Foggy and cloudy conditions have made them more sluggish, while sunny days have produced our best bites. We also haven’t been seeing the larger schools this year—most groups have been smaller.

Once we locate a school, we’re staying put and picking fish off as they filter through.

Best setups have been small tungsten jigs tipped with spikes, with bright colors working best.

🎣 Minnows are back in stock as of today (Friday the 6th).
